One year ago today I woke up not knowing, that in just a few short hours, my world would forever change. A year ago today I thought my entire world was coming to an end. I thought I was going to die. I thought I would never be happy again. I thought I had nothing to live for…

I was wrong.

In realty, a year ago today was the best day of my entire life. I was freed from a monster and I was finally able to live my life. Because of May 23rd, 2011 I made the most amazing friends, I got to have an amazing summer swimming with Princess Ariel and collecting gold doubloons with Jake. I made the most amazing memories. I had the chance to learn and grow. I was finally able to live for me instead of someone else. I was able to go to school and live in the place I always dreamed of. The best part though, is that I was able to meet someone who actually makes me happy.

A year ago today I thought my world had ended. I was wrong. In reality, it led to countless amazing experiences…and in the end, everything fell into place. Everything truly does happen for a reason. If I had the chance to go back in time I wouldn’t change a single thing.

You may not believe it, God knows I didn’t…but in time everything does falls into place. Fate always steps in to see you through. So dry your tears and never lose faith. I promise you everything will be alright.

Tonight the tears have dried and my soul came back to life. Tonight the boy I’ve been seeing and I are officially together. I cannot to wait to see where this new adventure with him leads. Everything truly does happen for a reason. I thought I would never feel this way ever again; but here I am. I’m smiling. Someone has taken the broken pieces and mended them back together.

Here’s to a new chapter, and to new dreams coming true.

The Disney Princesses have gotten an official makeover! They’ve been re-designed to be more “modern”. As of this fall, this is the new official look of Disney’s royal ladies. They all look like they belong on Real Housewives.
